If you're from Kansas City, you are probably incredibly aware of who Tech N9ne is; a local Kansas City rapper who was born and raised in the Heart of America. If you're still unsure of who Tech N9ne is, go listen to Worldwide Choppers, Am I a Psycho?, Dysfunctional, Hood Go Crazy and No K. I promise you'll enjoy every single song. The #1 Independent Rapper in the World, Tech N9ne blessed the city of Lawrence, KS was an amazing concert. This is the second time I've seen him in concert, and this time was even better than before!

When planning my outfit for the concert, my number one goal was to have a comfortable outfit, as the concert was general admission, meaning I would be standing for about four hours. I'm always the best dressed wherever I go (this isn't self-proclaimed, I always get multiple compliments on my clothes everywhere I go) and knew I would need to abandon my "be best dressed wherever I go" mentality.

For this reason I kept my outfit simple (on my incredibly high standards) and opted to wear a gold and black metallic-like bomber jacket, purchased from Forever 21 as part of their buy one get one free sale. The jacket was free with my other item but was on sale for $10.99 and regularly priced at $24.99. Underneath the jacket I wore a silver metallic crop top, purchased from H&M for $4.99 during their Black Friday Sale. On bottom I opted for a solid black pant to make my jacket and top stand out. The pants I wore were black harem pants from H&M that were on sale for $4.99. I decided to wear a slip on canvas sneaker shoe, that was of course covered in gold, silver and black glitter. These shoes can be purchased from Target for $6.99.
In total my entire outfit was only $17.00, which is an amazing deal for a full outfit! I cringe when I hear stylists on television say they can style a client for under $200. There's no reason you should ever have to pay that much to look good. If you try hard enough, rely on sales, and use the coupons and deals you get when registering your email with a store you can save big when shopping! If asked, I would be able to style someone from head to toe for only $30.00 and have them looking like a million bucks. So, shop sales and hit the clearance racks!
