I have a large collection of band and musician tees, ranging from 2Pac to the Rolling Stones. But I've never paid full price for a band tee! My secret, the clearance racks of not only the women's section but the men's and boy's sections, as well! My inspiration for this outfit stemmed from a similar look of one of my favorite Instagram and YouTube gurus, Charmaine Daudu, who is known as @Charmise on Instagram and MissCharmise on Youtube. Her outfit is shown below! Follow her on Instagram, and subscribe to her Youtube channel! I based my entire outfit around my Jimi Hendrix tee, that I found in the men's department of Walmart for only a $1.00. I loved the baseball style shirt and the vintage look of the tee, and of course the price. I wanted the outfit to have a '90s grunge feel, while keeping with my traditional boho outfit vibes, so I included my faux suede bell bottoms. These pants were purchased from Target for $5.00. I felt the outfit needed a spark, so I revived a early 2000's trend; wearing a belt over a shirt! I found this faux suede belt at Rue21 for only a $1.00. It created the perfect boho look and added cohesion with the faux suede pants. On any other day, I would have stopped my outfit at this point. However, this was an usually chilly day in March (below 30) which meant it was faux fur weather! I choose my black, grey and white faux fur coat for warmth. Wondering how to wear this look at Coachella or another music festival? Here's the breakdown. Start with a band tee or tank, add faux suede or velvet pants in any color, or even a velvet, suede or leather skater skirt. Add gladiator sandals or boots (the clunkier the better - i.e. Doc Martin style). And accesorize! I added a tattoo choker and large hoop earrings, but this look would also look great with a large floppy hat.
