I've been seeing floral chokers just about everywhere recently, and decided to do a an easy DIY. This DIY was more affordable than the actual choker, and only cost $2.00. I purchased my supplies from the Dollar Tree. You will need: artificial flowers of your choice, and loose stretchy headbands (mine came in a pack of three). Here is what you will need. You will also need a hot glue gun and scissors. Directions: Step One: Pull the flower head off of the stem. This can be done by gently tugging at the base of the flower head. Step Two: Cut the remaining stem off of the flower. Be sure to leave just a little bit of the stem, or else the flower will fall apart once you glue it. Do not remove the green, circular base of the flower from the flower. I trimmed the green pieces that stuck out on the flower so it would fit best. Step Three: Apply hot glue with a hot glue gun to the base of the flower, and immediately place it on your headband in the pattern/design of your choice. Step Four: Apply pressure for about 45 seconds, or until you feel the flower is firmly attached to the headband. Happy DIY-ing!
