Though I was born in Chicago, I have never been sightseeing in the city (which isn't a shock because I only lived there the first six months of my life). So while visiting Chicago in anticipation of The Formation Tour, my goal was to see as many tourist attractions in a short amount of time. I ended up only visiting the Navy Pier due to the crazy amount of rainfall Chicago got Memorial Day weekend. In hindsight, this was not the best outfit for a trip to Navy Pier. It was super windy, I completely understand why they refer to it as The Windy City, and it was an absolute pain trying to take pictures of the attraction without your hair completely covering your face. I spent most of the day trying to make sure my hat didn't blow away and my romper didn't fly up. My romper is from Shop Hope's and was purchased during the 75% off sale for sale items (no longer occuring). The Wild, Beautiful and Free Romper features a floral print all over and pom detail on the bottom of the shorts. It has a deep neckline and an open back that ties closed. The only downside of this romper is that it is cut shorter in the front than in the back which turned out to be a problem for me because I'm so tall. When I wear this romper again, I will definitely wear shorts underneath. To create a daytime look with this romper, I wore a black tube top under it so it wouldn't be as revealing. I'm sure I'll style this look for nighttime later in the summer, so be on the look out! To accesorize, I added a straw hat from Forever 21 and a black fringe purse from Forever 21, as well. My jewerly was very minimal, as I just wore black pearl earrings. My sandals are roman-style gladiator sandals which lace up. They were purchased from a small store in Alabama, though similar sandals can probably be found at popular clothing stores such as Charlotte Russe, or Shophopes.com. June V Week is just getting started! We're only three days away from my 23rd birthday!
