Protect Black Women. Protect Black Women at all costs.

As a Black and Native American woman, woman from both of my ethnicities are hardly protected. Crimes against our community are swept under the rug. We’re told to get over it. To move on. They want us to believe we are not worthy of saving. Not worthy of protection. Not worthy of love, care or compassion.

Black women are worthy. Native American women are worthy. We are worthy desire, compassion, love, happiness and everything in between. We deserve safe homes, safe communities, and uplifting notions in the public eye.

We are worthy of saving. We are worthy of protection. Do not put us down. Do not diminish our hardships. Do not make us seem as if we are desiring too much from the world. Protect us. Cherish us. Love us.

Keep us safe.
