Not your mother’s bermuda shorts

Remember the Bermuda shorts we wore as a kid? You know the plaid ones, with a matching polo? Well honey, Bermuda shorts are back, and these aren’t your mom’s Bermuda shorts! 

When I found these cargo Bermuda shorts from Nasty Gal, I knew they needed to become a part of my wardrobe. They’re a light wash short, with a high-waisted fit and all the elements of cargo pants that you love (or maybe hate, who am I to predict your love of cargo pants?) 

So what’s the best thing about styling your Bermuda pants in 2020? Because they’re high-waisted, you’re able to pair a cute cropped top or a bodysuit with these shorts to make styling effortless and easy. One shoulder tops have been a favorite of mine this summer. Traditionally, they’re reserved for nights out but they can also be appropriately styled for daytime wear as well. ​
