It's Yeezy Week on The Mod Little Melanin. For those of you not in the loop, Yeezy is the fashion lined owned and designed by Kanye West. Kanye West, rapper turned fashion mogul, is the husband of reality star, Kim Kardashian of the E! television show, Keeping Up with The Kardashians. If you're like the rest of America, you probably have a love hate relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner clan for the excessive attention they recieve from the media. However, when you look at them on a level outside of their reality show, you can see that they are a normal family just like yours who gained fame from a couple of odd choices, we won't go into detail.

Kim Kardashian, who is arguably the most famous Kardashian, has become a style icon thanks to her husband's Yeezy clothing line. The line features a variety of styles and textures in a variety of earth tones, including nudes, khakis, creams and blacks. In fact, Yeezy has sparked a minimalist trend in women's fashion of casual wear, aka solids and basics (leggings, tanks, tees, and bodysuits) in the world of fashion. Many women can be seen rocking the trend from daytime to nighttime, just like Mrs. Kardashian-West herself. Here's an affordable take on a Yeezy outfit recently worn by Kim.

I love the khaki, often called army green, color that has been popular for the past few seasons and fell in love with Kim's look. While Kim is wearing a dress from Yeezy, the look can also be recreated with a two piece set. My entire look comes from Missguided.com.
