If there were a fashion decade I could just live in repeatedly, it would be the 90's. All of the 90's style trends have come full circle. Including oversized clothing, Canadian Tuxedos, plaid "school girl" skirts, highwaisted mom jeans, just to name a few. Layering was a popular 90's trend. Spaghetti strapped tanks and dresses were commonly layered over a crew neck tee or graphic tee, and is once again gaining popularity. As shown in my look of the day on Monday, layering is an easy way to transition your favorite summer pieces into autumn without having to splurge on a whole new wardrobe. My goal for this entire look was to create an edgy vibe. My main piece of this look were my bell bottom pants from Pacsun, that feature a paisley print pattern throughout. To incorporate the minimal colors (grey and black) into my look, I layered a heather grey tank from Oldnavy over a black crew neck crop top from Walmart. Wearing this tank alone would be far too revealing, as it features a deep, lace "V" in the front of the tank that cuts just a bit too low. To accesorize I added a thick velvet choker, another popular trend of the 90's. My shoes are platform glitter slips ons from Target, that I purchased for $5.00.
