I've been looking for lace pants for over a year now, and finally came across and affordable pair from asos.com. I'd been looking for a reason to wear them, and knew that my birthday weekend would be the perfect occasion! I styled my outfit for shopping at The Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. When I go shopping, I prefer to dress to the nines from head to toe. My lace pants, from asos.com were purchased for $10.99, and are no longer available on the website. I first saw pants like this on Kardashian-Jenner Clan Member, Kylie Jenner. She styled hers with a band tee, which creates the perfect girly grunge look, if you add a dark lip and bold eyeliner. While these pants are lined, they only feature a brief like lining, which I wasn't completely comfortable with wearing in public. I added a pair of white biker shorts from Forever 21 underneath the pants to make the lining longer and more modest-like. If you're completely uncomfortable with your legs showing through the lace, add white leggings underneath, Forever 21 always has them in stock. Another downside is that these pants are extremely long (and I'm pretty tall for a girl -5'8") so I had to wear an extremely tall heel with them, which wasn't quite idea for shopping. However, the pants are highwaisted, which is a plus. Since the pants are an attention grabber, I wanted to keep my top simple for this look, but within the color scheme of the pants. I added a white longline, sleeveless cardigan from Wet Seal as my top. I love the versatility of this cardigan, as it can be styled with a dress, jeans, skirt, leggings, etc; and for only $7.00 it was quite the steal! The cardigan has an open fit at the bottom, so I added a nude tank underneath. My tank is from Old Navy and was no more than $3.00. What I love about the tans from Old Navy, is that they come in a variety of nude colors to match just about every skin color. To accessorize, I added vintage style hoop earrings, a peach colored bracelet and a variety of rings. I'm wearing my America the Beautiful Heels from Shop Hope's that are no longer available on the website. These heels feature a chunky heel that is about five inches tall. However, even with the heel height making me 6'1", my pants were still too long. I apologize for not taking more pictures of this look, but I promise you will be seeing these pants again later this summer!
