If you're looking for luxury, designer handbags without paying the designer price, the thirft store you should be looking at! I snooped out this vintage Fendi bag amongst at least 100 other persons that weren't worth an eye roll. It's a classic shoulder bag, that features an adjustable strap. Unlike signature Fendi bags that were popular in the early 2000s, this handbag features vertical stripes. At the center of the purse is an embellished, gold Fendi logo with a double "F" in the middle. After researching on the internet, I discovered that this handbag is a vintage piece from the 1980s, and was a part of the Pecan Khaki and Gray Striped Collection.
I've found numerous vintage, designer handbags at thrift stores in my hometown. Happy Shopping! - Chelsea Nicole Walker

Lately, thrift stores and consignment shops have become my favorite places to shop! They're full of designer, and one-of-a-kind gems that you would never find for such an affordable price elsewhere! Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing some of my most recent finds with you all! Today's look features this gorgeous, vintage velour sweatshirt (that probably had a matching pant back in the 90s) that I found at one of my favorite thirft stores, Savers! If you have a Savers or a Value Village (their sister store) in your area, I highly recommend taking a visit there, you'll be amazed at your finds! I paired this velour top with a pair of highwaisted, bell bottom jeans to add to the vintage look of the top. Skinny jeans would not have done this top any justice! If you're in search of bell bottoms, just about any thrift store should have a pair. Mine, however, are a clearance find from Forever 21. My sweatshirt isn't my only thrift store find in this look! I'm also wearing a vintage Fendi bag I found at Savers for only $5.00! I cannot tell you all how excited I was to come across this designer bag, and numerous others as I was hunting for deals! Visit the hashtag #saversfind or #saversthirftstore on Instagram to see what other gems fellow thrift hunters have found for a bargain! On Friday I'll go into more detail about my Fendi purse. Happy Thrift Hunting!
- Chelsea Nicole, The Mod Little Melanin Puffy coats aren't just for the ski resort anymore! Coats are the perfect accessory to spice up your wardrobe, and give your look of the day the perfect pop of color! I own a plethora of outerwear (I'll post a haul of all my outerwear in February after the end of season sale) and love to switch up my coat depending on my look of the day. Today's coat was purchased from H&M (before the photo fiasco) for only $15, and was regularly priced at $80! If you live in the Midwest or the North, it's the perfect piece to keep you warm and fashionable on the below zero days. For this look, I kept my pieces simple, as I was wearing a sports shirt (Rock Chalk!) and wanted my coat to be the focal point. I paired my Kansas cropped top, purchased from PINK during their on-going Semi-Annual Sale with a pair of high-waisted jeans, purchased from Old Navy. To complete the look, I added a pair of Fenty dupe shoes, currently on sale at Rue 21, and added a glossy, glitter lip because you can never have too much lip gloss! My purse is a Christmas gift from my boyfriend, and is from the latest Michael by Michael Kors Collection. Now is the time to stock up on your winter outerwear! Stores such as Rue 21 and H&M have marked down this season's hottest coats to under $20!
